Sky news just asked Corbyn about Amnesty International's report into Maduros Venezuala that links 41 deaths to the President stating that Amnesty International should be listened to and is an important international organisation.

I wonder if they had the same stance for Amnesty's report on Israeli Genocide? Clearly they did not as Israel's standpoint went reported however unchallenged.

The reporters name never materialised on screen. I wouldn't want my name on that either.

For perspective most of the 41 deaths occured during post election protests and the Metropolitan Police since 1990 have had almost 2000 deaths after contact with members of the public.

Notably since Maduros kidnapping and presentation at a New York Court which has no jurisdiction over such matters one of the main charges that Maduro was the head of a international drug cartel which turned out was completely fictitious and those charges have now been dropped making the USA a laughing stock.

How could the United States reduce itself to this level of idiocracy?

Callamard stated that the U.S. is destroying the world order and that Israel has done the same for the last two years. She has previously warned that the international system is on the “brink of collapse” due to the failure to rein in Israel’s actions in Gaza.

She specifically cited German support as a contributing factor to this decline, noting that German and other European leaders have “governed over its demise” through complicity and silence. She has criticized Germany for using laws to curtail freedom of expression for those showing solidarity with Palestinians.

In earlier statements, she characterized the situation in Gaza as a symbol of the “moral failure” of the post-World War II order, noting that the U.S. has shielded Israel from scrutiny by using its veto power at the UN Security Council.
